Snarl started writing in 1995 and quickly became comfortable in the chaos of the Sydney graffiti scene.
His work has always been letter based and through painting large-scale productions he became comfortable with painting more figuratively through the necessity to compete on a global scale.
Snarl’s letter style has morphed over the years whilst applying new techniques learnt in the field and with developments in spray paint technology has arrived at an individual style filled with ‘popping and interlocking semi-wild mechanised 3D letter with angular piercing embellishments, aerodynamic fins and excessive hyper-extensions’.
