Drahtfunk is a seven time Stencil Art Prize finalist, having entered every year since 2012. He has spent over a decade as an artist and is experienced and known for his delicate detailing and acute attention to intricacy. An ex resident, born and raised in Ipswich, Drahtfunk has lead paths of workshop facilitation all the way to Melbourne, now teaching the skills and providing masterclasses within social enterprises. Working in fields of the visionary and surreal, Drahtfunk's work transcends areas of spiritualism and the metaphysical; exploring unworldy worlds that are just beneath the surface.
